Since 1999 our program has been a part of the American Youth Football League (AYFL). The league is made up of 14 organizations with 98 teams in 7 different age/weight divisions. The Davie Tackle Football, Club a 501(c)(3) organization, competes in all 7 age/weight divisions. Our goal is to teach sportsmanship, teamwork and responsibility along with the fundamentals of football and competitive cheerleading. After a very sucessful 2009 season for our cheerleading and football clubs, we look forward to 2010, please be sure to promote the DTFC Program to your friends and family. Get involved and become a part of our prospering youth athletic program. GO BRONCOS!

Please mark your calendars for Friday March 19th, 2010... We will be having our 2010 Season Parents & Coaches Meeting at 7:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Center at the Bamford Sports Complex. Be sure to be there and meet your coaches and teammates for the new season. Register your child(ren) for the 2010 season with Davie Tackle Football/Cheerleading. Please note that there is a discount for early registration as well as for additional sibling enrollments, so register now and save money! Did you know that the Davie Tackle Football Club is a parent run organization? We need all of our parents to pitch in and volunteer. Come out on March 19th, this is your chance to get involved and make the program better!

Online Payment options are available within the 2010 Registration Button on the left. Registration costs are $200.00 for our tackle football program. There is a $10 discount for multiple participants within the same household. There is a $20 discount if you register prior to April 27th, 2010, for returning participants the discount applies until June 28th, 2010.
All participants are required to purchase $50 in raffle tickets from the organization, which they can sell. All participants are also required to participate in a fundraiser, the opt out fee for the fundraiser is $50. Anyone not participating in the funraising efforts can be removed from the organization. Limited scholarships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We need your help! We encourage parents to get involved and help to make the football/cheerleading experience the best it can be for our kids. There are many areas in which to help -- team managers, statisticians, homecoming committee, field set-up and takedown, chain gang, announcers, etc. See a board member for more information about these opportunities. Please consider being a sponsor for our successful program. We have several sponsorship options, please help us to maintain our youth programs. Our children depend on your support. |
